Notoriously Morbid August 2017 Mystic Monthly - Agnes Swatches and Review

Hello, everyone!  I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's August Mystic Monthly!  It was inspired by Agnes and featured a Mystic Matte liquid lipstick as well as a Sinister Sprite Lip Shimmer. Notoriously Morbid's current TAT is 14 business days, but the Mystic Monthly bills on the 20th of each month and ships two business days later.

Agnes:  metallic red brown with red and gold shimmers.  This is a really pretty lipstick and got me feeling a bit more comfortable about dark brown lipsticks.

Storm Raising:  sheer medium pink with pink shimmers; deliciously berry scented.  I was actually really surprised by how much I liked Storm Raising.  It seems sheer when swatched on the hand, but it gave me such a beautiful wash of color on the lips.  I felt like a million bucks while wearing this balm and I definitely want to wear this look again!

Notoriously Morbid August 2017 Vanishing Cabinet - Father of Zombies Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's August Vanishing Cabinet. It was inspired by George Romero, who created many zombie films.  The VC includes three eyeshadows, a mini highlighter, and a mini Slumber Salve.  NM's current TAT is 14 business days, but the VC ships on a different schedule.

Notoriously Morbid Have You Any Dreams? Tribute Trio Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's ninth Tribute Trio, as well as their companion eyeshadows.  The mini collection was paying tribute to Fleetwood Mac and couldn't be contained in just three products!  Along with two semi loose eyeshadows and an all new lip product, Notoriously Morbid added two "B-Sides" semi loose eyeshadows.  The trio is no longer available on the website, though the B-Sides are still available to purchase.  NM's current TAT is 14 business days.

Shatter Your Illusions:  beautiful golden beige with pink and blue sparkles

Hauntingly Familiar

Hauntingly Familiar:  shimmery gray blue.  The swatch looks a bit lavender, but it's bluer in person.  This is one of the B-Sides.

Don't Say That You Love Me:  fuchsia with blue sheen.  This is the other B-Side shadow.

She is the Darkness:  beautiful royal purple with blue sheen

Crystal Visions

Crystal Visions:  sheer purple and pink sparkles.  This is the debut of Notoriously Morbid's Liquid Alchemy Changeling Topcoat.  It differs from regular Changelings in that the Alchemy Changeling is color shifting and seems more glittery.

Notoriously Morbid Watercolor Stains Collection and Causeacon Cosmic Glosses Swatches

Happy September, everyone!  I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's Watercolor Stains highlighter palettes and Mystic Matte lipsticks that were released last month!  They were inspired by Tori Amos and while I'm not familiar with her work, I can always appreciate beautiful makeup :)  I also have swatches of three new Cosmic Glosses that were made exclusively for Causeacon!  I actually love Notoriously Morbid's gloss formula because it's so comfortable and moisturizing.  Notoriously Morbid's current TAT is 14 business days.

Innocent + Twisted Alchemy August 2017 Subscription Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  I have swatches of Innocent + Twisted Alchemy's August subscription.  The theme for that month was inspired by a comic that the owner, Linda, had been drawing. The mini subscription box is $10/month for US subscribers and usually includes a full sized product and a deluxe product.  In August, we received four deluxe sized eyeshadows and one mini blush.  Unfortunately, one of the shadows was mislabeled and we received duplicates, so I will only be swatching three of the shadows.  Linda will be including the fourth shadow in September's box.  I+TA's current TAT is 10 - 14 business days, though the subscription ships on a different schedule.  My subscription has been automatically canceled since September is the last box :(

Overall, August's subscription had some truly stunning colors.  I'm in love with Weapon of Choice and Jin in particular.  The comic also seems intriguing and I would love to read it someday!  I'm sad that September's box will be the last, but I'm happy to have so many beautiful colors to play with from all the boxes over the years :)
